1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of LoveSpot — including our mobile app (iOS and Android) and website at lovespotapp.com — operated by LoveSpot ("Company", "we", "us"). By registering an account or accessing any part of the service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use LoveSpot.
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
• You must not be prohibited from receiving our services under applicable law.
• You may only create one account. Multiple accounts are not permitted.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating your account. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your password secure and confidential.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately at support@lovespotapp.com of any unauthorised access.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Create a false or misleading profile or impersonate another person.
• Use LoveSpot for commercial purposes, solicitation, or advertising.
• Harass, bully, stalk, abuse, or threaten other users.
• Send unsolicited messages (spam) or request money from other users.
• Share sexually explicit or graphic content without explicit consent.
• Post or share content that is illegal, hateful, discriminatory, or violates third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit LoveSpot's systems or data.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the service.
• Circumvent any safety or security features.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you post on LoveSpot (photos, videos, messages, etc.). By posting content, you grant LoveSpot a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service.

You represent that your content does not infringe any third-party rights and complies with these Terms. We may remove content that violates these Terms without notice.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

6.1 Subscription Plans

LoveSpot offers free and paid premium tiers (Silver, Gold, Platform). Premium features require an active subscription. Prices are displayed in your local currency before purchase.

6.2 Billing

• Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe (EUR/USD/GBP) or Paystack (NGN) and renew automatically unless cancelled.
• iOS subscriptions are processed by Apple and governed by Apple's terms.
• You authorise LoveSpot to charge your payment method on the billing date.

6.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused subscription time, except where required by applicable law.

6.4 Refunds

Boost purchases are non-refundable once activated. For subscription refund requests, contact us at support@lovespotapp.com within 7 days of purchase. Refunds are granted at our discretion unless required by law. Apple App Store purchases are refunded directly through Apple.

7. Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Intellectual Property

LoveSpot and all associated trademarks, logos, product names, and software are the exclusive property of LoveSpot. You may not use any of our intellectual property without prior written permission. The LoveSpot name, logo, and app design are protected trademarks.

9. Disclaimers

LoveSpot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• That you will find a romantic partner through LoveSpot.
• That the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
• The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of other users' profiles or content.

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, both online and offline. LoveSpot performs verification but cannot guarantee that all users are who they claim to be.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LoveSpot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or for any other legitimate reason. You may delete your account at any time via Settings in the app. Upon termination, your right to use LoveSpot ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of LoveSpot after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
